Suki Jones-Mozenter began working as a substitute teacher in Oakland, California over 20 years ago. She fell in love with the students and the work, spending the next twelve years as an elementary teacher serving mostly English language learners in urban Title I schools. Currently, she works as a district level Bilingual/English Learners Specialist.
