Barclay Marcell is a literacy teacher at a suburban Chicago elementary school and a graduate of National-Louis University’s reading specialist program. She has authored articles for The Reading Teacher, Reading Today, the Illinois Reading Council Journal, Educational Leadership, and Teaching K-8.
